1. I'm going to go back and re-read the sections. In general, the material is new enough that I'm still trying to sort it all out. As for things that were harder to understand than others, I don't really understand the algorithm given as an example of a threshold scheme. I think that, as usual, once I see it a second and third time (in class) and have a chance to sort it out as I'M writing it down, it will start to come to me. Specifically, I don't understand how the pairs/points (t,w) are combined in such a way as to reconstruct a message.
2. One thing that I'm becoming more and more interested in is applications. I'd like to see more applications of the threshold schemes. It gives some really good examples (banks, inheritances, etc), but I'm wondering if there are any other examples.
